Abstract

The data from the RNA-seq analysis suggests similarity of the transcripts with species-specific sequences of other plants producing benzylisoquinoline alkaloids; 24 gene candidates have been put together in a putative Erythrina alkaloids biosynthetic pathway; 25 alkaloids were annotated by Molecular Networking approach in seeds and leaves; seven glycosylated alkaloids were detected exclusively in seeds. Additional soil and edaphoclimatic analyzes were discussed.
