Abstract

Three specimens of Aristolochia gibertii from three geographic localities were compared genetically, morphologically, and chemically.
Several differences were observed between them.
Genetic and morphological analyses showed that all samples were A. gibertii.
Diterpenoids and kusunokinin were found as chemical markers of A. gibertii, but the chemical composition of the three specimens differed significantly.
