Abstract

Dereplication based approaches guided the identification of anthraquinones, liquenxantones and diketopiperazines not previously detected in Penicillium setosum. Some of these metabolites were isolated and submitted to anti-leukemia assays. Fellutanine C presented promising activity against leukemia cell lines (Kasumi-1) and this compound had its mechanism of action fully elucidated.
