The crude extract produced by an endophytic fungus (Diaporthe sp.) was fractionated by column chromatography. All the 25 fractions obtained and the crude extract were evaluated (in vitro) for growth inhibition of Xanthomonas citri subsp. citri. Two fractions showed good growth inhibition rate and were selected to next steps of compounds identification.
