Apolar fraction from the leaves of D. lanceolata (Annonaceae) led to the isolation (−)-cyclocolorenone, whose structure was established based on spectroscopic and spectrometric data. Additionally, its absolute configuration was assigned by vibrational circular dichroism. The antileishmanial activity of (−)-cyclocolorenone was evaluate against promastigotes forms of L. amazonensis and the cytotoxicity on J774 macrophages. The integrity of cell membrane was analyzed using the probe Sytox green.
